Use of Personal Information 
We value our customers privacy. travel ways does not share customer information with third parties. We ensure that only travel ways employees will have access to your information. No personal information about you as an individual will be offered to third parties.

Currency and Special provisions
Our pricing is in the currency Euro.  In some cases a pricing of a tour is given months or even years before the tour starts. In today’s global economic climate where nobody is able to predict currencies or the oil price , we may experience currency discontinuations or worldwide financial crisises with severe exchange rate changes or devaluations that could force us to adjust the tour price.

Payment

All prices on our Web site are in Euro (€)  After booking your tour, you will be asked to pay a deposit payment which varies from tour to tour. If the deposit balance is not covered, we reserve the right to cancel the travel arrangements. For the remaining amount due we will inform you about due date. As each private tour has a different background and different services, we will inform you about the payment dates of your specific tour.

What’ s inclusive?

Please check your individual offer and itinerary for an exact description of what is included in the price of your tour.

All tour rates do not include: personal expenses, personal travel insurance, air fare, lunches, dinners, beverages and optional activities other than shown under included features.

If you decide to access any of the third party sites linked to our Site, you do so entirely at your own risk.

Disclaimer of liability

is not liable for any issue which occurs in connection with the customers flights.
If you miss your flight, and for any reason you cannot be on your planned flight to start your trip with travel ways, you have to pay the tour price according to the cancellation regulations.

We strongly recommend to buy a trip protection, covering baggage, trip cancellation or interruption, and personal accidents and health insurance. Please contact your local insurance companies for further details.

travel ways acts only as agent for companies whose services and conveyances we untilize for our tours. We are not liable for any damage or delay due to illness, mechanical breakdown, theft, quarantine, weather, labour disputes, government restraints, heavy traffic or traffic jams whether within cities or elsewhere or other causes beyond our control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, re-routing or acts of any government or authority.

The tour directors/drivers  accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delays or changes in motor coach, train, airplane services, or that of any other conveyance, sickness, accident, weather, strikes, war, violence, quarantine, or other causes, and all such losses or expenses must be borne by the individual.

Neither will travel ways  be responsible for any error, omission, act or any injury, loss, accident or any delay which may be occasioned by reason of defect in any vehicle  through neglect or default of any company or person engaged in the conveying of passengers.

According to German Law we reserve the right to limit our liability to the maximum amount of the triple tour price, except physical injuries.

Legal rights against us have to be claimed 30 days after the last day of the tour. The statute of limitation according to German law is 6 months.

Itinerary Changes
Because of the nature of our tours weather, road closures, acts of God or other unexpected events may require changes to be made to the tour itineraries or the cancellation of certain excursions or add-ons. We will advise you of such changes at the earliest possible date. Changes such as change of accommodations within the same category, schedule changes, partial tour alterations are considered minor changes.

travel ways will make every attempt to hold on to your personal tour itinerary, within the limits of safety and time. If we are forced to make changes in the itinerary, the customers have no right to any refund or other compensation.

No refund will be made, if you choose not to take part in any activity, or not make use of services provided.

Passport and Visas 
It is the customers responsibility to have all documents like passport, visa, etc

 

Since you will experience your destination while on a road trip with several hotel changes, please pack “light”. We allow one suitcase per person, plus one carry on per couple.
If you need to bring more luggage, please ask for a larger van/ bus; we will be happy to provide a customized quotation for your tour!

Booking, Payments, Cancellations and Refunds 
After booking your tour with travel ways , the due deposit can be done by money transfer or via paypal payment. The money wire or paypal costs are to be paid by the customer.

Depending on the needs of your specific tour a deposit of between 20 to 50 per cent is due. It depends on the individual contracts with for example hotels, who might require a 100 per cent pre-payment.
The balance is due 60 days before the tour starts, in some cases earlier or later.

Cancellations:

Cancellation from day of booking up to the 120th days before the starting day of the tour
55 % of the tour price
Cancellation from the 119th day to the 80th day before the starting day of the tour

70 % of the tour price

Cancellation between the 79th day before the starting day and the starting day of the tour

100 % of the tour price

No show

100 % of the tour price

 

Change of booking

If you wish to change your booking once a contract exists between us (e.g. dates of travel), we will do our best to make these changes, but it may not always be possible. Changes can only be requested in writing from the person who made the booking. There is an administration charge of EUR 450,- per booking, as well as any further cost that may occur in making this alteration from hotels or other companies involved in your tour.. Please be aware that these costs could increase the closer to the booked tour date that changes are made. For your request of any changes, please contact us as soon as possible. .

These terms & conditions are meant for our private tours (customized tours for small groups). Other terms & conditions apply for bus tours or other types of travel.
