Day 1

Munich

Arrival at Munich, transfer to hotel, depending on arrival time – visit Oktoberfest.

All day Munich.
Morning with local guide – visit to the famous Hofbräuhaus, have lunch in a beer hall, take a walk in the centre and visit Viktualienmarket, the most exciting Mediterrenean food and grocery market north of the Alpine Mountains.

Day 3

All day Munich
In early afternoon the whole group could go on one of these beer tours, where 10 people sit at a square bar, which they pedal through the streets while drinking beer. The vehicle is supervised by a „pilot“. Later visit of a brewery and visit the Oktoberfest again.

Day 4

Munich-Salzburg 143km/89 miles

Morning more activities in Munich. Afternoon take a rental car and drive to Salzburg.

After arriving in Salzburg, where our local guide will take you on a walking tour – Salzburg, city of baroque architecture, city of Mozart – Maybe you are a fan of Sound of Music?

Salzburg Hallein 145km/90 miles

Leave Salzburg for Hallein, make a brewery tour at Hofbräu Kaltenhausen brewery and visit salt mine Hallein.

Day 6

Villach to Venice 298km/185 miles

After breakfast stroll through the old town of Villach – do some shopping – enjoy your free time.

From Villach drive today to the most romantic city in Italy – Venice.

Further down south you drive across the Austrian/Italian border into Venetia, a beautiful Italian province and its capital – the city of Venice.

Venice is located on a little island off the Italian coast. From a parking on mainland you take a boat that will take you through canals to the centre of Venice.

Day 7

Venice

All day to explore Venice. In a private boat one of our local tour directors will point out the sights. Later walk the area of St. Mark’s Square with the famous cathedral and bell tower. Balance of the day at leisure.

Full day in Venice on your own. Overnight in Venice.

Venice – Verona – Riva del Garda 205km/127 miles

Today you will leave Venice and drive to the medivial town of Romeo & Juliet – VERONA

After a typical lunch at one of the fames piazza drive to Riva del Garda at Lake Garda

Lake Garda or Benaco is the largest lake in Italy. Its wider part to the south is surrounded by morainic hills that were left following the glacier retreat, while the narrow northern part is enclosed by the mountains that created fjord-shape configurations and provide a very mild Mediterranean climate. Arrive at the beautiful Lake Garda and stop in Riva del Garda.

Riva del Garda is the main centre of Northern Lake Garda. It is the ideal location for an eventful holiday. The centre of Riva del Garda will fascinate you with its works of art and architecture, witnessing to ancient history and a past rich in art and culture.

Day 10

Riva del Garda – Innsbruck 304km/189 miles

From Riva del Garda you will will drive down the spectacular Brenner Pass road to Innsbruck.
where you will arrive in late afternoon – Early enough for a visit at Svarovskis Chrystal World. Do some shopping or stroll around the old town in the historic centre of Innsbruck, view the famous Golden Roof that was built by the Emperor Maximilian and St. James Cathedral, a miracle of baroque architecture.

Day 11

Innsbruck – Neuschwanstein 205km/127 miles

This morning after breakfast you will drive the scenic Fernpass road across the Austrian/German border and come to your todays highlight – King Ludwig II famous castle Neuschwanstein, the fairy tale castle, towering high above a cliff over the little village of Schwangau.

Visit this highlight and stay overnight at the feet of castle Neuschwanstein (Fairy tale castle).

Day 12

The Romantic Road from Schwangau to Munich 154km/96 miles

The last part of your tour you will drive „the Romantic Road“ from Castle Neuschwanstein to Munich.

By the road you can stop at beuatiful historic villages, have lunch in a typical little german Gasthof and then you will end in Munich again.

End of Tour

Transfer to Munich Airport, flight home… What a great trip.
