Day 1

Arrive at Frankfurt Airport.
Guided city tour of downtown Frankfurt and time to explore Germany’s “business-capital” (time permitting).
Late afternoon “Welcome” cocktail and meeting with your tour director.
Overnight stay in Frankfurt.

Day 2

Short drive via Wiesbaden into the Rhine Valley. Past the vineyards of the famous Riesling
Wines to the city of Ruedesheim. From here a Rhine Steamer takes you downstream passing numerous castles and vineyards to the famous Loreley Rock. Onward by coach to Marksburg Castle, dominating the Rhine and the city of Coblence. Here you will have a lunchbreak in a beergarden restaurant at the conflux of the rivers Rhine and Moselle.
Next you will see the remains of the famous Bridge of Remagen, which played an important role in WW II.
Before the coach reaches today’s final destination, you will stop in the city of Cologne. Your tour director will take you on a walk through the medieval center of the city to awesome Gothic Cathedral. Overnight stay in Cologne.

Day 3

From Cologne you will travel through “Ruhrgebiet”, the so called Forge of Germany. Then on to Hannover to one of the most important monuments in modern German history; the chekkpoint Marienborn, the former border between East and West Germany.
Onward to Berlin, the capital of the reunited Germany and Europe’s most astounding and breathtaking blend of the historic and modern lifestyles.
Overnight stay in Berlin.

Day 4

In the morning you will see Brandenburg Gate, the historic and the modern parts of Berlin, and some of the treasures of antique history at Pergamon museum.
In the afternoon you may either explore Berlin on your own or join your tour director on an optional excursion to famous Potsdam Castle, home of the Prussian Kings.

Day 5

Early departure from Berlin. Drive through former East Germany to Leipzig. Your tour director will take you on a walk to the famous St. Thomas Church, where the German composer Bach lived and worked. You will also see Nikolai Church, where the East German liberation movement started before the wall came down.
In the afternoon continue to Nuremberg. Take time to admire the medieval fortification walls.
See where WWII history was made: such as Soldiers Field and where Hitler paraded thousands of his soldiers during the Nazi Regime.
Overnight stay in Nuremberg.

Day 6

Leave Nuremberg for the medieval city of Rothenburg – one of the most beautiful of Germany’s historic cities. Walk the cobblestone lanes. View the 16th century houses. Shop in the wonderful boutiques.
In the afternoon you will travel on the Romantic Road, passing farms, meadows
and forests and quaint villages. In late afternoon arrive in Munich, the capital of Bavaria.
In the evening your tour director will offer you an optional excursion the famous beer hall Hofbräuhaus for a stein of beer and Bavarian music and dances.
Overnight stay in Munich.

Day 7

A local expert will take you on a tour of Munich in the morning. This tour includes the city center, the Olympic Stadium and the famous „Pinakothek“ – a gallery where you will see paintings of the European Masters.
In the afternoon a short ride into the Bavarian Alpine Mountains to the city of Garmisch.
Afternoon at leisure or accompany your tour director on an optional excursion to Linderhof Castle, the smallest and most charming of all the castles the Bavarian King Ludwig built during his reign.
Overnight stay in Garmisch or Oberammergau.

Day 8

Leave early for a scenic ride through Austria to King Ludwig II Fairy Tale Castle at Neuschwanstein. Admire the breathtaking view from the castle. Once inside you will understand how a Bavarian King made his dream come true.
In the afternoon travel via Lindau at Lake Constance across the Southern Black Forest to Neustadt, located on the bank of Lake Titisee.
Overnight stay by the lake.

Day 9

Continue via the northern part of the Black Forest. Visit Germany’s highest waterfalls near Triberg. Enjoy a shopping stop at a cockoo clock factory.
The gigantic castle of Heidelberg is the last highlight of this tour before you return to Frankfurt in the evening.
Overnight stay in Frankfurt.

Day 10

Airport transfers for your homebound flights.
